The high chair is one of the most important baby furniture you can get your baby. Babies are very curious. They like watching what’s happening around them and they’re just too busy to pay attention to food. Having a chair that would safely hold your baby while you feed him is a big help to parents.

The Fisher-Price Rainforest Deluxe High Chair is one of the highchairs that parents are crazy about. Fisher-Price is known for producing high-quality product and they sure outdid themselves this time.

What’s so great about this particular high chair? It’s a breeze to clean. The biggest issue with babies is that it’s always a mess when they eat, so parents need to look for a high chair that’s easy to clean. The Fisher-Price Rainforest Deluxe High Chair doesn’t have crevices for food to get caught in – a flaw that a lot of other high chairs overlooked. While food can get under the seat cover though, it’s very easy to remove so parents don’t have to worry.

The Fisher-Price Rainforest Deluxe High Chair is also very easy to set up, which is one of the basic considerations when buying a high chair. It’s quite big even when folded down though, about the size of a regular dining chair. I’m pretty sure this is the standard size of high chairs though but make sure that you have extra space just in case.

This high chair has nice extra features too. It comes with a removable tray insert which can be thrown into the dishwasher after feeding. It also comes with a nice rainforest toy (which can be snapped on the tray when the baby’s not eating) to entertain baby while you go ahead and prepare her food.

While it doesn’t affect the chair’s performance in any way, not a lot of parents are crazy with this high chair’s look. The green rain-forest design can be very attractive to kids, but I can’t imagine it complementing any kitchen design soon. For the price and quality of this high chair though, parents are more than willing to overlook this.

I received this for my son in 2007 as a baby shower gift, which I had registered for and it lasted through both my kids. Our 15 month old is still using it. The tray holder in the back for the pop out insert comes in handy and the toy still works great…we have owned this for 3 almost 4 years! I also LOVE how it reclines when the babies fell asleep. It is really easy to adjust (low to the ground so my toddler can color “next” to her brother on his table & higher so she can “sit” at the family table with us).
